About the role

SOS Children’s Villages Albania is seeking a Finance Officer to manage the financial operations of its Fundraising Department and the Shkodër project. The role ensures accurate budgeting, reporting, and compliance with Albanian legislation while supporting senior management with financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial administration of the Fundraising Department, including revenue and expense control.
• Plan, monitor, and analyze budgets for fundraising campaigns and the Shkodër project.
• Administer staff compensation schemes, bonuses, and fundraising incentives.
• Manage cash flow, payments, and financial obligations for the Shkodër project.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and support procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and Albanian financial legislation; support internal audits.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a finance professional.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian financial legislation and accounting standards.
• High professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
