Financial Controller – Accounting & Tax Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead accounting and tax activities for VOIS in Albania. The role ensures compliance with group accounting standards, statutory reporting and fiscal requirements while supporting audits and collaborating with international shared‑service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate accounting entries in line with statutory and Vodafone group reporting requirements.
• Work closely with shared‑service teams in India and Budapest to guarantee data accuracy, meet deadlines and uphold Financial Operations KPIs.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with selected tax filings.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external auditors and tax authorities.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and manage escalations.
• Perform financial operations reporting certifications and oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations.

Required profile

• Approximately 4‑5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Chartered accountant qualification or equivalent is a plus.
