Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will join a professional services firm specializing in accounting and audit. The role involves managing the full spectrum of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control all financial transactions in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and apply accounting standards.
• Register and monitor assets, post depreciation, and coordinate asset inventories.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage postings for expenses, revenues, and VAT.
• Handle accounts payable, payroll, receivables, and other balance‑sheet items.
• Prepare and post statistical data and regularly review balance‑sheet entries.
• Provide required information and reports to tax authorities and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting and annual financial statement preparation.
• Experience in an international company is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards (SKK), and tax legislation.
• Excellent time‑management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
