Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, supports strategic decision‑making, and provides leadership to the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets and other reporting deliverables.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Manage cash flow, investments and financial risk.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA or ACCA is an advantage.
• Proven experience of 6+ years in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and reporting standards.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
