Finance Associate – Remote (50‑100% FTE)

About the role

As a Finance Associate you will act as the data steward for receivables and payables at Room Estate. Working remotely, you will ensure that every rental contract and purchase is recorded accurately in SAP, invoices are generated correctly, and payments are processed according to the company’s standard procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain rental contracts in SAP, creating accurate invoices.
• Record approved supplier invoices to keep payables complete and current.
• Allocate payments that are not automatically matched by the system.
• Run dunning processes on a regular cadence, review open cases with the Finance Manager, and hand over delinquent accounts to the collection agency.
• Charge and refund deposits and pre‑payments following standard processes.
• Clear customer and supplier accounts when automatic clearing fails.
• Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate receivables and payables data in SAP.
• Escalate non‑standard cases or process blockers to the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Strong reliability and process discipline, able to work independently without supervision.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, comfortable navigating receivables and payables modules.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to follow defined standard processes consistently.
