Cost Engineer

About the role

KLAR shpk is looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to prepare cost estimates and calculate costs for construction projects. The role involves analytical work, technical documentation, and collaboration with various project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities (BoQs) and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Calculate work quantities from technical drawings and project documentation.
• Analyze projects to ensure consistency between drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Update cost estimates based on project changes and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, site engineers, and other departments to ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing BoQs and cost estimates in the construction sector.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with civil, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• Ability to perform price analyses and quantity calculations.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with specialized cost‑estimation software.
