Clinical Project Manager – Europe (Talent Pipeline)

About the role

Emerald Clinical Trials is building a talent pipeline of experienced Clinical Project Managers to support upcoming European studies. This home‑based position will lead global and regional clinical trials across therapeutic areas such as renal, oncology, cardiometabolic and autoimmune diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for assigned clinical projects from start‑up through close‑out.
• Serve as primary contact for sponsors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, forecasts and project plans.
• Lead study teams to meet quality, budget and timeline expectations.
• Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee site activation, enrolment performance, monitoring activities and overall study execution.
• Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, regulatory requirements and company SOPs.
• Manage project finances and vendor performance.
• Support proposal development, business development activities and bid‑defense meetings.
• Mentor Clinical Trial Managers, CRAs and other project team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of clinical research experience.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience within a CRO environment.
• Experience managing global or multi‑regional clinical studies.
