Casual Banquet Waiter (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Casual Banquet Waiter will support the Food & Beverage team in delivering memorable event experiences at JW Marriott in Tirana. Working part‑time, you will assist with set‑up, service and clean‑up for banquets and other functions, ensuring guests receive attentive and professional hospitality. You will work closely with the kitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens and event materials according to banquet specifications.
• Communicate with the kitchen, serve food and beverages, and attend to guest requests throughout the event.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including clearing tables and handling supplies.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Uphold uniform standards and professional appearance while representing the brand.
• Assist with inventory of banquet supplies and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with event coordinators to ensure timing and service flow.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in banquet, restaurant or event service.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, guest‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
