Back-End Software Developer (Java)

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and customize scalable Java back‑end applications using JEE, Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance existing solutions, including bug fixing, performance tuning and customer‑specific customisations.
• Analyse requirements and change requests, defining appropriate technical solutions.
• Collaborate on system architecture design to ensure long‑term maintainability and extensibility.
• Apply automated testing practices (unit, component, integration) to guarantee quality and stability.
• Support packaging and automated deployment, ensuring smooth releases and operational stability.
• Contribute ideas for product improvements, optimisation and innovation.
• Work within agile methodologies, coordinating closely with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Java Enterprise developer.
• Strong foundation in computer‑science theory and design patterns.
• Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects and communicate effectively in English.
