Accounting & Finance Specialist – German Market

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting & Finance Specialist for the German market to support Enpal’s renewable energy operations. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments and smooth coordination with internal and external partners in a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, categorize, code and record supplier invoices in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time within the ERP system.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor invoice processing timelines to ensure compliance with agreed payment terms.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and investigate outstanding or disputed items.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data and support vendor account administration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain required documentation and facilitate efficient invoice processing.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards and internal control procedures.
• Identify and support process‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of AP operations.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and provide support for other finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, finance or accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in an international or shared‑services environment (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, data analysis and reporting).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP system.

What we offer

• Base gross annual salary of ALL 950,000.
• Performance bonus up to ALL 200,000.
