Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to modeling, KPI logic, and dashboard delivery. You will design robust ETL workflows, integrate APIs, and build scalable data models that empower teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end ETL workflows using PowerShell.
• Integrate multiple data sources, including SQL databases, REST APIs and internal systems.
• Develop reusable PowerShell modules, configuration files and parameterized functions with strong error handling, logging and monitoring.
• Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures and views to extract, validate and transform data.
• Collaborate with IT and platform teams to ensure secure, compliant data operations.
• Implement API‑based data ingestion (e.g., Bitbucket) and manage authentication, scheduling and metadata retrieval.
• Build clean, scalable data models and translate business requirements into KPI logic.
• Create dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) that deliver actionable insights.
• Document architecture, runbooks and operational procedures; transfer knowledge to internal teams.

Required profile

• Expert‑level PowerShell scripting for ETL and automation.
• Strong SQL development experience, including performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with REST API integration.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and KPI definition.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Familiarity with version control (Bitbucket, Git) and CI/CD concepts.
