Senior BI Consultant – Power BI & Data Analytics

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Power BI & Data Analytics Consultant to help international clients turn data into strategic insight. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to design, build, and govern enterprise‑grade analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise‑scale Power BI dashboards, KPI frameworks and strategic reports.
• Translate complex business problems into actionable analytics and data‑driven recommendations.
• Define reporting standards, governance practices and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership teams to support decision‑making.
• Work closely with data‑engineering teams on data‑modeling initiatives and ETL/ELT processes.
• Present analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the analytics practice.
• Help clients establish scalable, sustainable reporting and analytics capabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data consulting.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, communicate insights and tell data‑driven stories.
• Strong understanding of data‑warehousing, dimensional modeling and BI architecture.
• Experience defining KPIs, reporting frameworks and governance standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Power BI (including DAX, semantic modeling and performance optimisation)
• Advanced SQL and experience with large datasets
• Data‑warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
• Tableau, Looker or other BI platforms (nice to have)
• Python or R for analytics and automation (nice to have)
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or Google Cloud (nice to have)
• Modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery (nice to have)
• ETL/ELT processes and basic data‑engineering concepts
