Part-time On-site Teacher

About the role

This part-time, on-site Teacher position is based at Coddy School in Tirana, Albania. You will design and deliver engaging lessons for children and young learners, adapting methods to each group’s needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and adapt lesson plans that are structured, goal-oriented and interactive.
• Deliver instruction and facilitate classroom activities that promote critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.
• Assess student progress, provide regular feedback and maintain records of achievement.
• Maintain a structured, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to align teaching practices with the school’s educational goals.
• Communicate with families regarding student performance and needs.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings and professional-development activities.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and education skills with experience delivering lessons to diverse groups of learners.
• Effective lesson-planning abilities to create engaging learning activities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, families and colleagues.
• Training and instructional skills to guide learners and provide constructive feedback.
• Relevant teaching certification or a degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working with children or young learners in a classroom setting (beneficial).
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics, foster inclusivity and adapt to different learning styles.
• Proficiency in English and Albanian is an advantage, together with strong organizational and time-management skills.
