Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Platform Engineer to join Techbeez AL in Tirana. The role focuses on building data pipelines, designing data models and delivering analytics solutions that enable our clients to make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Design, optimise and document data models for reporting and analytics.
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and Power Query.
• Explore data to detect patterns, anomalies and emerging trends.
• Develop and test forecasting or predictive‑analytics prototypes, communicating assumptions clearly.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts and software engineers to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot pipeline issues and improve performance.
• Apply security, access‑control, governance and documentation standards across the platform.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or analytics development.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse or warehouse implementations.
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English and Albanian.
• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
