Cloud Engineer – AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS to join our international Agile team. You will be involved in the full software and cloud lifecycle, designing, building and operating cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy cloud‑native applications and services on AWS.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Architect scalable, secure and highly‑available solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Ensure performance, security and reliability following best practices and a clean‑code mindset.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, stakeholders and project managers across multiple locations.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, best‑practice definition and continuous cloud optimisation.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience, preferably with AWS.
• Strong Java development background, preferably with Spring Boot.
• Experience with modern architecture patterns such as microservices, serverless and event‑driven systems.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud security.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
