Project Management Officer – Transformation & PMO

About the role

The Project Management Office (PMO) supports the planning, coordination, governance, monitoring and reporting of projects across the bank. As a Project Management Officer you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with internal standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies and resources.
• Ensure project execution complies with the bank’s policies, governance frameworks and regulatory deadlines.
• Coordinate deliverables across business functions, IT teams, external vendors and regulatory authorities.
• Support project teams in defining priorities, critical path activities and required actions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, including compliance, integration, data security and financial risks.
• Facilitate change assessment, prioritisation and approval based on business needs and project constraints.
• Provide regular status reporting with KPIs, risks, issues, dependencies and remediation plans.
• Organise and lead project meetings, prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
• Monitor resource allocation, project budgets and procurement documentation for audit readiness.
• Support quality assurance processes, track testing progress, defects and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Strong project coordination, organisational, analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven experience managing relationships across business, IT, vendors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated banking environment and adhere to governance standards.
