Test Lead

About the role

The Test Lead will ensure software development teams apply the testing methodology, collaborate with developers to guarantee product quality, and lead testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define test plans, design test cases, execute them and create detailed test reports.
• Report bugs according to guidelines and keep the defect tracking system updated.
• Use quality and tracking tools such as Jira Xray, TestLink, etc., to trace progress.
• Ensure automated tests integrate with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Monitor automation results, diagnose failures and maintain test automation (Java/Selenium).
• Coordinate all testers, plan and execute final integration testing, and document outcomes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to increase efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, IT or equivalent.
• ISTQB certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution quality assurance.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace or pharma equipment testing is a strong plus.
• Logical, precise, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all functional levels.

Required skills

• Java programming.
• Selenium and JUnit test automation.
• ISTQB certification.
• Jira (including Xray) and TestLink.
• Git version control.
• Continuous integration and delivery processes.
