Senior Cloud Ops Engineer

About the role

Yassir is expanding its digital ecosystem across North Africa and beyond, and needs a seasoned DevSecOps professional to secure and scale its cloud infrastructure. You will work within the Security squad to embed security throughout the development lifecycle while ensuring high availability of our on‑demand and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure for core services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new features safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive rapid resolution.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and security controls to minimize downtime.
• Continuously improve infrastructure processes for cost efficiency and performance.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python, TypeScript).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, CDK for Terraform, or Pulumi.
