Hydraulic Engineer

About the role

Kontakt Al is seeking a qualified Hydraulic Engineer to design, plan, and supervise hydraulic and water‑related works on its building and infrastructure projects. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Albania, and involves close collaboration with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical designs, calculations and specifications for hydro‑isolation and drainage systems.
• Review and validate drawings, ensuring compliance with Eurocode norms and local regulations.
• Assess and select hydro‑isolation solutions for underground walls and flat terraces.
• Coordinate material procurement, timelines and quality control on construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor implementation of hydro‑technical solutions and produce technical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles, water flow and drainage systems.
• Experience with design and analysis of steel and concrete structures affected by water impact.
• Proven ability to supervise on‑site works and ensure quality standards.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Albania and travel to different project locations.

Required skills

• Hydraulic design software (structural or hydraulic analysis tools)
• Familiarity with Eurocode norms and Albanian construction regulations
