Strategy and Transactions Assistant

About the role

As a member of the Strategy and Transactions team, you will work alongside financial due‑diligence and valuation professionals on a variety of projects across multiple sectors. You will help identify key value drivers, challenge performance assumptions, and support clients before, during and after transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial due‑diligence procedures and analyse operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold, reviewing financial statements, accounting records, key agreements and conducting interviews.
• Prepare and evaluate pro‑forma financial information and comprehensive financial analysis.
• Identify areas for purchase‑price adjustments and develop recommendations on key financial and business issues.
• Execute financial‑modelling engagements for strategic planning, capital allocation, transaction support, investment appraisal and reporting.
• Provide modelling solutions, data analytics and analysis to address complex business problems.
• Assist in preparing client deliverables (reports, data books and other transaction documents) in both Albanian and English.
• Obtain regular feedback, build internal and external relationships, coach junior team members and collaborate effectively within the team.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Economics.
• Proficient use of Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into insights.
• Advanced level of English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Strong initiative, high energy level and adaptability to new challenges.
