Senior Site Architect – Construction Phase

About the role

Oppenheim Architecture is seeking an experienced Senior Site Architect to lead the construction and execution phases of its projects in Albania. The role requires regular on‑site presence in Tirana or Dhërmi and frequent travel between project locations.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Oppenheim Architecture during construction and execution phases.
• Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with the architectural design intent.
• Review construction documentation, shop drawings, material samples and mock‑ups.
• Identify, coordinate and resolve architectural and construction‑related issues.
• Support interdisciplinary coordination and maintain clear communication among all parties.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• Several years of experience as an Architect, Site Architect, Project Architect or Construction Architect.
• Proven track record during construction and execution phases, preferably on large‑scale, complex projects.
• Experience working with international architects, consultants or multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
• Based in Albania and available for regular on‑site presence.
• Willingness to travel between Tirana, Dhërmi and other Albanian locations.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and architectural detailing.
• Expertise in reviewing shop drawings, material specifications and mock‑ups.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English and Albanian, both spoken and written.
