Senior Consultant for EU Integration and Diaspora Coordination

About the role

The Senior Consultant will support the General Secretariat for European Integration in Albania, providing technical assistance and coordinating Albanian diaspora experts to contribute to EU accession related policy and regulatory reforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide embedded technical support to the General Secretariat for European Integration at the Prime Minister’s Office.
• Coordinate Albanian diaspora experts, ensuring their inputs are demand‑driven, coherent, and aligned with institutional needs.
• Prepare analytical and policy‑oriented documents, facilitate institutional consultations, and support knowledge transfer to beneficiary institutions.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in European affairs, public policy, law, economics, public administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in EU integration, public administration reform, migration governance, labour migration or diaspora engagement.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work with senior government counterparts.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of EU integration processes and public administration reform.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, organizational and communication skills.
