Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage the organization’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role supports audits, budgeting, forecasting and collaborates across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Ensure tax compliance and assist in tax return preparation.
• Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
