Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the management of our financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in preparing statements, supporting audits and driving budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
