Senior Accountant

About the role

Telelink Infra is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead its accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Albanian standards. The role supports the Finance Division by preparing statements, managing tax filings, and strengthening internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain precise financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Record, review and reconcile transactions in line with Albanian accounting standards.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations according to Albanian tax legislation.
• Reconcile bank, supplier, customer and general‑ledger accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes and assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
• Monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations and implement necessary updates.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent financial reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian accounting standards, tax legislation and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements, tax filings and reconciliations.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong written and spoken English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
