Remote SEO Specialist – Contract

About the role

AGOGAGOG Marketing is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to manage and execute optimisation campaigns for multiple client websites. This remote contract position is ideal for a self‑motivated professional who can work independently and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, mapping and on‑page optimisation.
• Create meta titles, descriptions and internal linking structures.
• Develop content briefs and optimise existing content.
• Perform competitor and local SEO analysis.
• Run basic technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
• Analyse data using Google Search Console and GA4.
• Update WordPress sites and generate monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Works independently, communicates clearly and organises projects efficiently.
• Does not rely solely on AI tools and validates work before completion.

Required skills

• Keyword research and on‑page SEO.
• Local SEO techniques.
• Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• WordPress (including Elementor).
• Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner.
• Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Basic HTML/CSS.
• Looker Studio, Google Sheets / Excel.
