Premier Travel Specialist (Italian)

About the role

Roundtrip, part of the Emerging Travel Group, is seeking a Premier Travel Specialist fluent in Italian to manage end‑to‑end travel arrangements for premium corporate accounts and VIP travelers. The role combines expert travel consulting with hands‑on booking across a global supplier network, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to post‑trip support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for corporate and VIP clients, handling complex travel requests via email, phone, chat, or CRM.
• Provide tailored travel advice and solutions for flights, hotels, transfers, and premium services worldwide.
• Book travel through Roundtrip’s online platform and coordinate offline arrangements with hotels, DMCs, rail, ferries, cruises, and airlines.
• Negotiate rates and terms directly with suppliers to secure optimal agreements for corporate clients.
• Manage the full booking lifecycle, including confirmations, payments (including virtual card processing), vouchers, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Online Support, Finance, Product, Sales, and Account Management to maintain operational excellence.
• Monitor performance against SLAs, resolve operational issues, and proactively escalate incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business travel management, premium customer service, TMC, DMC, or high‑touch corporate travel operations.
• In‑depth knowledge of hotel and airline operations and global destination management.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher proficiency in English and Italian.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with demanding corporate clients and negotiate with suppliers.
• Excellent organizational abilities and precision when handling multiple complex requests.
