Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure reliable deployments, high availability, and optimal performance of our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure including VPC, subnets, security groups, and networking best practices.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized Java and NodeJS applications using Docker and Amazon ECS (Fargate or EC2).
• Administer Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for performance, backups, and high‑availability configurations.
• Configure Application Load Balancers for traffic routing, SSL termination, and auto‑scaling.
• Implement global content delivery with Amazon CloudFront and optimize caching strategies.
• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and related services.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles with AWS CDK (or Terraform) to automate resource provisioning.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, cost, and reliability.
• Partner with developers to improve deployment processes and application architecture.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and core infrastructure concepts.

Required skills

• AWS services: ECS, VPC, RDS, ALB, CloudFront, CodeBuild, CodePipeline.
• Docker containerization for Java and NodeJS applications.
• CI/CD pipeline development and best practices.
• Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (Terraform is a plus).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and GitOps practices.
• Monitoring tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
