IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive supports the IT Manager in maintaining the hotel's technology infrastructure, ensuring all systems, applications and services run smoothly. This role provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to hotel staff, helping technology enable a seamless guest and team experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, network and connectivity issues across the hotel.
• Respond to service requests and incidents promptly, minimizing operational disruption.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, telephones and other IT equipment.
• Support hotel technology systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point‑of‑Sale (POS) platforms, telephony and Wi‑Fi.
• Assist with user access management, system upgrades, installations and testing.
• Monitor network performance, maintain servers, wireless infrastructure and perform preventive maintenance.
• Execute backup procedures and ensure compliance with IT security policies, including software updates, security patches and antivirus protection.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver technical support in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime.
• Good communication skills to work closely with hotel departments and understand their technology needs.
• Attention to detail for asset tracking, documentation and security compliance.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Software troubleshooting and installation.
• Network troubleshooting, Wi‑Fi configuration and monitoring.
