About the role

The Hydro Engineer will design, plan and supervise hydro‑insulation and waterproofing systems for underground walls, foundations and flat terraces on construction sites in Tirana.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, review project drawings and calculations, and ensure solutions comply with Eurocode and local regulations.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, technicians and contractors to select materials, define technical specifications and resolve design or implementation issues.
• Monitor construction progress, oversee quality control and testing of waterproofing works, and prepare technical documentation, reports and as‑built records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of hydro and thermo/hydro insulation methods and technologies within projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hydro engineering, waterproofing systems and thermo/hydro insulation for underground structures.
• Experience with steel and reinforced concrete constructions and understanding of structural behavior in water‑exposed environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, perform basic hydraulic and structural calculations and prepare engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with Eurocode standards and local construction regulations related to water protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering or a related field.
