Head Start Center Aide

About the role

We are seeking a Head Start Center Aide to join our preschool team for the upcoming school year, starting mid‑August 2026. The aide will support a vibrant classroom of up to 20 children, helping create a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute nutritious meals for the children.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom through daily cleaning tasks.
• Provide scheduled breaks and support for teaching staff.
• Assist the teaching team with various daily tasks as directed.
• Support the overall well‑being and development of the children.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about early childhood education.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working with young children in a team setting.

Required skills

• Basic food preparation and handling.
• Knowledge of classroom hygiene and safety practices.
