Head of Content Operations, Marketing & Distribution

About the role

We are a fast‑growing creator‑management agency looking for a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end content distribution engine. The Head of Content Operations will design, implement and scale the workflows that turn long‑form creator videos into compliant, high‑performing placements across every major social platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a long‑form‑to‑short‑form pipeline that automatically creates multiple native short videos from each 10‑15 minute creator piece.
• Build a content multiplication engine that generates compliant variants to avoid platform duplicate flags and can be operated by junior staff.
• Create and document SOPs for distribution on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, Facebook, Reddit, Snapchat and emerging platforms.
• Develop an account‑survival system that keeps creator channels live despite bans, throttling or rule changes.
• Draft repeatable playbooks for launching on new platforms with no prior data.
• Implement a feedback loop that captures performance data and feeds insights back to the production team.
• Lead four direct reports (Creative Director, Editing Manager, Distribution Manager, YouTube Lead) as a unified machine.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations or systems teams in a fast‑moving digital or creator‑focused environment.
• Deep understanding of major social‑media platforms, their content policies and distribution mechanics.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate performance data into operational improvements.
• Track record of building scalable SOPs, pipelines and cross‑functional workflows.
• Excellent leadership skills to manage multiple managers and align them toward a common goal.
