German Language Teacher – Afternoon Classes

About the role

Akro Center, a multilingual language school in Tirana, is seeking an experienced German Language Teacher to lead afternoon classes. You will work with learners of various ages and proficiency levels, delivering structured, engaging lessons that align with the centre’s high teaching standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic German language lessons for diverse student groups.
• Prepare appropriate teaching materials, activities, and resources.
• Support individual learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and assess outcomes.
• Foster a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the Akro Center team to continuously improve the learning experience.

Required profile

• Degree in German Language, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching German is mandatory.
• Advanced German proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Strong knowledge of German grammar and communication.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Professional, responsible, learner‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in German (C1+).
• Strong grasp of German grammar.
• Ability to create engaging lesson materials.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology (advantageous).
