Fundraising & Program Development Coordinator

About the role

ESD Albania is seeking a motivated Fundraising & Program Development Coordinator to expand its donor base and design high‑impact programmes. Working closely with the Director, you will turn research insights into fundable project ideas and manage the full grant‑making cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess funding and partnership opportunities that align with ESD Albania’s mission.
• Prepare concept notes, project proposals, and grant applications.
• Adapt programme ideas to meet the requirements of different funders and target groups.
• Diversify funding sources, including grants, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, institutions, and corporate partners.
• Explore national, regional, and international partnership opportunities.
• Support communication and follow‑up with prospective and existing partners throughout the application process.

Required profile

• Fluent in Albanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or programme development within the non‑profit sector.
• Strong analytical ability to match organisational needs with funding criteria.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
