Front Desk Customer Service (Cashier) - Durres Branch

About the role

Tirana Bank, a privately owned Albanian bank founded in 1996 and part of the BALFIN Group, is hiring a Front Desk Customer Service (Band 2) employee for its Durres branch, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The role serves customers on cash and non-cash transactions, counts and balances the branch cash in line with the rules and regulations in force.

Key responsibilities

• Follow bank procedures and regulatory directives on cashier transactions, and implement all operational procedures accurately.
• Handle cash and non-cash transactions quickly, accurately and securely, referring clients to the appropriate retail or individual relationship officer.
• Cover deposits, withdrawals, transfers, utility payments, payments to third parties, cash exchange, cheques and ATM transactions.
• Manage cash limits and ensure clients are served within the bank's service standards.
• Register walking customers in the system and complete the related forms.
• Meet the individual performance targets for the post.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
• Very good communication and negotiation skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Very good presentation skills.
• Very good written and spoken English.
