Front Desk Customer Service (6‑month Temporary Contract)

About the role

The Front Desk Customer Service professional will be the first point of contact for clients at the Kavaje branch, handling cash and non‑cash transactions while ensuring compliance with bank procedures and regulatory directives.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute deposits, withdrawals, transfers, utility payments, third‑party payments, cash exchange, cheque processing, and ATM transactions accurately and securely.
  • Maintain cash limits and perform cash counts, checks, and balances in line with bank policies.
  • Register walking customers in the system, complete required forms, and refer clients to appropriate relationship officers.
  • Achieve individual performance targets and deliver timely service according to bank standards.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.

Required skills

  • Cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of banking operational procedures.
