Facade Design Engineer / Architect

About the role

The company is seeking a Facade Design Engineer or Architect to work primarily from its office in Tirana. The role focuses on 2D/3D design, preparation of technical drawings, detailed shop drawings, and coordination with façade installation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings for façade systems based on architectural projects and technical specifications.
• Develop shop drawings and implementation details, including connections to structure, walls, and floors.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools to generate accurate technical documentation.
• Create technical specifications, material lists, and cost estimates required for production and installation.
• Review on‑site measurements, update drawings as needed, and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and conformity of all façade design deliverables.

Required profile

• University degree in Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in façade design, with overall experience of over 5 years in related engineering or architectural roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• High attention to detail and precision.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit (or similar BIM tools) is an advantage.
