Engineering Manager – Remote (French speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function of a fast‑growing technology company on a 3‑month renewable consulting basis. The role is fully remote and requires fluency in French and strong English communication. You will bridge technical decision‑making with business priorities, guiding a team while staying hands‑on with the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
• Lead, mentor and support engineers, remove blockers and ensure high performance.
• Make and challenge architectural decisions focusing on scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Lead complex technical projects from planning through execution.
• Collaborate with product, sales and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical objectives.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, Head of Engineering or similar role.
• Strong software engineering background with experience in Python, Ruby, Elixir or Golang.
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams and deliver complex technical projects.
• Fluent French and strong English communication skills.
