Data & Performance Analyst

About the role

Burger King Albania is looking for a Data and Performance Analyst to turn operational and commercial data into actionable business insights. Working with Oracle data and Power BI, the analyst supports performance analysis and decision-making across regional QSR operations. The position is based in Prishtina.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, validate and transform data from Oracle and other business sources.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models and DAX measures so teams can understand performance and make informed decisions.
• Deliver daily and weekly operational reports and monthly management analysis, including KPI calculations and performance trends.
• Create reusable datasets and work with business teams to keep KPI definitions consistent across markets.
• Analyse restaurant and commercial performance to answer business questions, identify root causes and recommend practical improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, IT and source-system owners to resolve data issues, communicate limitations and improve reporting processes and automation.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on experience developing and maintaining data analysis, reports and dashboards.
• Strong analytical judgment: looking beyond the numbers, testing explanations and recommending realistic actions.
• Good professional English and the ability to explain findings clearly to technical colleagues, country management and senior leadership.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail and the ability to balance regular reporting with ad-hoc analytical requests.
• A plus: experience with automated data refreshes, KPI documentation and multi-country reporting.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills and confidence with large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills, especially in Oracle (joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions), with query troubleshooting.
• Practical Power BI experience, including Power Query, DAX, data modelling and report optimisation.
• Ability to validate and reconcile data, explain calculations and handle incomplete, inconsistent or duplicated records.
