Cost Estimator – Construction Projects

About the role

The Cost Estimator (Kostoist/e) at Orion Construction is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Tirana. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment based on project drawings and specifications.
• Review and update cost databases and records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor budget performance and provide regular cost‑related reports.
• Support bid preparation and contribute to cost‑efficiency recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and other internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant education in civil engineering, construction management, economics or a related field.
• Previous experience in cost control, quantity surveying or construction estimating is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Albanian construction market, local prices, norms and regulations.

Required skills

• Cost estimation, budgeting and financial analysis for construction projects.
• Interpretation of architectural and engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and cost‑management software.
• General office applications.
