Cook III

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a Cook III to join its kitchen team at the Sheshi Italia location in Tirana. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to recipe standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, and store fresh produce.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test foods for proper doneness.
• Cook menu items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness, disinfect tools and equipment, and monitor appliance temperatures.
• Serve food in correct portions and assist with set‑up and break‑down of the kitchen area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Operation of ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients accurately.
• Preparation of cold foods and portion control.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
