Budget and Reporting Manager

About the role

The Budget and Reporting Manager will lead the preparation, consolidation and presentation of the company’s annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans. You will ensure that all financial reports are accurate, timely and compliant with IFRS and local accounting standards, acting as a key financial partner for business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and multi‑year financial plans.
• Ensure IFRS‑compliant financial reporting and manage the transition from statutory accounting to IFRS.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including variance and cash‑flow analyses.
• Monitor actual expenditures versus approved budgets, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct financial modelling, scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Identify risks, propose internal‑control improvements and support audit processes.
• Drive automation and standardisation of budgeting and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, IFRS reporting and accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, metals or other process industries is an advantage.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.

• Proficiency with financial reporting tools.
