Budget and Reporting Manager – Finance Leadership

About the role

The company, a leading international player in mining and metals processing, seeks an experienced Budget and Reporting Manager to lead its financial planning, budgeting and IFRS reporting activities from the Tirana office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation and presentation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Ensure all financial reports and budget data are accurate, timely and compliant with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Manage the transition from statutory accounting to IFRS, providing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Monitor actual expenditures and revenues against approved budgets, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including cash‑flow and variance analysis.
• Drive process automation and standardisation within budgeting and reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, IFRS reporting and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, metals or other process industries is an advantage.
