Audit Support Analyst (Italian Project)

About the role

Deloitte Albania is seeking a motivated Audit Support Analyst to join its Italian project team. You will work closely with clients and internal audit professionals to ensure accounting and tax documentation complies with Italian regulations and Deloitte standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with client personnel and perform analytical reviews of accounting and tax documents.
• Review client accounts, operating procedures, and internal control systems.
• Execute compliance controls and quarterly reviews of ordinary accounting activities.
• Prepare outputs and documentation that support Deloitte audit reviews.
• Provide recommendations to improve client controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time and align with the work plan.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Results‑oriented, proactive and detail‑driven.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural team and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Italian is preferred; language courses will be offered.
