Audit Associate

About the role

Grant Thornton Albania is seeking a motivated Audit Associate to join its expanding audit team. You will work on diverse client engagements, supporting senior auditors and gaining exposure to a wide range of industries across Albania and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit engagements.
• Participate in field work, including internal control evaluation and audit testing.
• Verify financial records, expenditures, and revenue for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare summary memos and document audit findings.
• Help draft audit reports and present findings to clients.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to the final audit deliverables.
• Engage in continuous professional development through self‑study and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in audit and assurance.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with clients.

Required skills

• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and internal control concepts.
