Audit and Assurance Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking an Audit and Assurance Senior Associate to join its Tirana office. You will work on financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and delivering high‑quality audit opinions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit teams from planning through to completion, delivering work in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Assist managers and partners in managing a portfolio of client engagements and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Coach and advise junior staff, fostering their technical development.
• Build and maintain professional relationships directly with clients.
• Stay informed on local and national business and economic developments to add value to engagements.
• Support business development initiatives to expand PwC’s service offering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA.
• Minimum three years of experience in audit and assurance.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and Albanian.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and analytical thinking.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• High level of computer literacy.
