Advisory Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

Deloitte Albania is seeking a motivated Advisory Associate to join its Transaction Support practice. You will work on M&A engagements, gaining hands‑on experience throughout the deal process while building a solid foundation in financial due diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of financial due‑diligence engagements and related transaction assignments.
• Analyze financial statements, identify trends, assess performance and risks.
• Prepare and maintain working files, data packs, analyses and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to client deliverables, ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with senior team members and across service lines as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field with a strong academic record.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and able to handle large data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
