Academic Advisor – Student Support & Career Guidance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Advisor to guide university students through course selection, degree planning, and career development. The advisor will serve as a trusted resource, helping students navigate academic policies and achieve their educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on academic standing, graduation requirements, and course selection.
• Provide academic and career counseling, including financial aid information.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and improve academic programs.
• Monitor student progress toward graduation and intervene when needed.
• Assist students in identifying personal, educational, and career objectives.
• Conduct career assessments and refer students to appropriate resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience advising college or university students.
• Strong knowledge of higher‑education admissions and graduation requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and faculty.
• Ability to counsel students on personal, academic, and career matters.
