Team Leader Buyer

About the role

As a Team Leader Buyer (Negotiation) you will bridge global sourcing opportunities with the high‑demand French market, driving international trade at scale within Ozeol’s 6,000‑staff ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Global Market Integration: act as the vital link between French market demand and global sourcing to secure high‑margin acquisitions.
• KPI‑Driven Leadership: lead and empower a team of Buyers/Negotiators to exceed performance targets with aggressive sales strategies.
• Quality & Portfolio Oversight: supervise the supplier portfolio quality to ensure high‑standard inputs for the negotiation stage.
• Stakeholder & Conflict Management: serve as the strategic interface with Client Coaches and handle complex supplier/client issues.
• Operational Excellence: validate high‑value purchase orders and ensure strict compliance with procurement procedures and ethical standards.
• Cross‑functional Synergy: partner with Sourcing and Activation teams to maintain a fast‑paced, seamless supply‑chain cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain or related field.
• Proven experience in negotiation, procurement, sales or business development with prior team‑leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to drive KPI‑based performance and foster a competitive yet collaborative sales culture.
• Advanced negotiation tactics, contract validation expertise and understanding of global overstock clearance models.
• Fluency in English required; French or additional languages are a strong plus.
