About the role
The Senior Planning Engineer will lead planning and scheduling activities for engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and resources are managed effectively. This role coordinates across departments, monitors progress and mitigates risks to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating tasks, milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to define scope and priorities.
- Monitor progress, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on schedule performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics and supply‑chain teams to secure timely delivery of materials.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and planning principles.
- Experience with project scheduling software, especially Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Understanding of local and international construction standards.
